Hardy geraniums, or cranesbills, are always one of our most popular offers and we have selected three more cultivars which will make a great show in any cottage garden or border setting. Geraniums are on of our most versatile perennials, putting up with almost any conditions including drought to yield a proliferation of cheerful flowers! They are superb perennials for any lightly-shaded garden with their pretty foliage and profuse abundance of flowers from late spring.
IN THE GARDEN
- Perfect border plants and easy to grow. Useful ground cover.
- Full sun or partial shade and fully hardy.
- At home in any soil but prefer a well-drained soil.
- Excellent drought tolerance.
- Supplied in 9cm pots from mid-August 2008.

Geranium pratense 'Laura' (PBR applied for)
'Laura' represents a breakthrough in breeding for the meadow cranesbills. It is the first fully-double white-flowered variety and it will shine forth from your borders with large and showy flowers. Height: 60-80cm (24-32in).

Geranium soboliferum 'Starman'
A splendid compact cultivar which is ideal for the front of border or even as an unusual container plant. The lovely two-tone flowers combine to reveal an almost crimson star-shaped centre surrounded by a rich pink. Height: 40cm (16in).

Geranium 'Sweet Heidy'
A really unusual multicoloured flower – pink and blue with distinct white centres. Bred in the Netherlands this cultivar has a slightly trailing habit and is an ideal front of border plant or as groundcover. Height: 50cm (20in).
